GROOMER

This is a full time commission based position to start.

Are you a canine-friendly individual who has a passion for trendy looks and innovative styles that make passersby stop and stare? Are you upbeat, friendly, and professional with grooming experience? We are looking for you!

Max & Alayna’s Paws Play is Downtown Cleveland’s first Doggie Daycare, Grooming and Boarding facility beginning Fall 2017. The grooming salon, sPaws Play, will create a fun and safe environment, be upbeat and each encounter will be personal.

The Ideal Groomer Will:

  • Have a positive attitude and upbeat personality with the paws as well as the humans of Paws Play

  • Be familiar and experienced with traditional grooming of a wide range of canine breeds

  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years experience

  • Be able to provide a Look Book / Portfolio

  • Provide necessary clippers and related tools

  • Be neat and tidy keeping and leaving the work area clean

  • Be proficient at nail trims, ear cleaning, and anal gland expressing

  • Have experience or the ability to implement trendy styles (feathering, coloring)

  • Endure bending, kneeling and standing for long periods of time

  • Lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required
